Lunch & FREE SCHOOL MEALS

ACADEMY LUNCH

At The Russett School we believe in delicious and nutritious meals. We benefit from having a full kitchen onsite and with the support of Edsential we offer an appetising menu designed especially for our pupils. Menus follow a three week rolling program and offer a large choice of options.

We believe that lunchtime provides an invaluable opportunity for developing independence and communication skills for our pupils and we support them to learn about food and make healthy choices.

We use local suppliers wherever possible to reduce air miles and our recipes make use of fresh, seasonal fruit, vegetables and herbs. The meat and chicken we buy is ethically farmed and we choose fish from a sustainable source.

The cost of a lunch is £3.18 per day.
