The Russett School

As an outstanding academy for pupils with Special Educational Needs and Difficulties, The Russett School is also committed to supporting children with additional needs and their families within our community and across Cheshire. For over 8 years, we have been proud to offer free, play and therapy based learning sessions through our Family and Toddler group.

Sessions are run by our dedicated and specialist staff and takes place every Friday 09.30-11.30 am at Weaverham Primary Academy, Northwich Road, Weaverham CW8 3BD, during term time.

Sessions can be accessed by families who have a child or children aged between 6 months and 4 years who have an additional need. We work closely with other professionals including speech and language therapists and physiotherapist to design our sessions which support early communication and interaction skills. The sessions also provide an opportunity for parents to meet one another, speak to other families in their local area and seek advice from a range of professionals.
